Standard vs In-Beam Starts

Timing mate allows for two type of starting gate triggers.

A standard beam trigger will start timing when the user passes through the gate.

An In-Beam start will occur when the user starts inside the beam. This could occur in a drill such as 5-10-5.

When inside the beam a sequence of 3 alternating LED colors will occur. When the device turns RED. It is now armed and will trigger when movement occurs while exiting the beam. The arming time for the In-Beam start is approximately 3 seconds.
