How we compare
Leasing gates costs more every year.
Many timing systems are leased on multi-year terms, so the cost keeps adding up and you never own the hardware. Timing Mate PRO is a one-off purchase. Here’s the total cost of 3 gates over time compared with similar systems.

Questions
Do I need a subscription?
No. You pay once and own the gates. The app, AxIT Connect, unlimited athletes and all team features are included with no ongoing fees.
How many gates do I need?
Sprints need a start and finish gate, so 2 is the minimum. Change-of-direction drills can use a single gate as start and finish. Reaction and memory drills need at least 3. You can add gates later, up to 12 in one system.
What is the range?
Gates connect reliably up to 120m apart. The detection distance for running drills is adjustable from 50cm to 300cm (default 150cm), and from 5cm to 50cm for reaction drills.
What’s AxIT Connect?
An online portal for reviewing your results on a bigger screen: trends over time, team reports and squad dashboards. It’s included with every Timing Mate PRO kit.
Can I test a whole team at once?
Yes. Run athletes through back to back with a live leaderboard, or put gates on separate channels to run two drills at the same time.
What does the warranty cover?
Every gate has a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
